Incorporation index registers, 1880-1919.

Registers listing companies to whom the Secretary had issued certificates of incorporation, created to help access record books, incorporation case files, etc. They include building and loan associations, insurance firms, religious associations, and a wide range of other private businesses. Later indexes repeat part of the information in earlier registers.
